The ingredients in MetaboSpeed XXX are:
Guarana extract (800 mg): Guarana is a plant that is commonly found in Brazil. The seeds of this plant contain approximately five times more caffeine than coffee beans. MetaboSpeed XXX contains 800mg of Guarana extract standardized to 20% caffeine. In other words it contains 160mg of caffeine, which is equivalent to a strong cup of coffee. Caffeine is a recognized thermogenic agent with clinically demonstrated benefits for weight loss (e.g. Am J Clin Nutr 1989; 49(1):44-50. Am J Clin Nutr 1980; 33(5):989-997), although some findings indicate that it offers greater benefits to lean individuals that to those who are overweight (Am J Physiol 1995; 269(4 Pt 1):E671-8). Guarana also delivers an energy boost. It is incorporated into many fat burners because of its caffeine content and diuretic properties.
Bitter Orange extract (200 mg): This ingredient is the oil that is extracted from fruit of the tree Citrus aurantium and is a common ingredient in many diet pills. Bitter orange extract contains synephrine and octopamine, which is similar to ephedrine in that it raises blood pressure, heart rate and metabolism. Synephrine can help suppress appetite and increase energy. However, clinical studies have revealed that synephrine produces a relatively modest increase in thermogenesis. The primary benefit from taking MetaboSpeed XXX is an energy boost similar to that experienced by drinking a strong cup of coffee.
