MetaboSpeed XXX side effects
Side effects that may occur from taking MetaboSpeed XXX include constipation, dehydration, muscle cramps, nausea, stomach discomfort, restlessness, jitters, nervousness, irritability, insomnia, rapid heartbeat and high blood pressure. MetaboSpeed XXX may interact with both prescription and over-the-counter drugs. The stimulants in MetaboSpeed XXX, namely Guarana extract, Green tea extract, Bitter Orange extract and Korean Ginseng, can cause over-stimulation of the circulatory system. This may counteract the effectiveness of drugs used to lower blood pressure. If suffering from hypertension consult a doctor before taking MetaboSpeed XXX. While using MetaboSpeed XXX it is advisable to limit the consumption of any food or beverages that contain caffeine. Do not take MetaboSpeed XXX if suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure, renal disease, spasms, migraines, hyperthyroidism, heart disease, psychiatric disorders, or are allergic to chocolate or tyramine. Do not combine MetaboSpeed XXX with asthma medications. Take advice from a doctor first, if taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).

MetaboSpeed XXX ingredients
The ingredients in MetaboSpeed XXX are:
Guarana extract (800 mg): Guarana seeds contain five times more caffeine (caffeine is a thermogenic agent) than coffee beans. MetaboSpeed XXX has 800mg of Guarana extract standardized to 20% caffeine. In other words it contains 160mg of caffeine. Guarana is a popular ingredient in many stimulant-based weight loss pills. Guarana may cause side effects that can include: anxiety; diarrhea; headache; increased urination; nausea; nervousness; shakiness; tremors; trouble sleeping; upset stomach; and vomiting.
Bitter Orange extract (200 mg): This ingredient is an oil that is extracted from the Citrus aurantium fruit and is used for a variety of purposes in traditional Chinese medicine. It is a common ingredient in many diet pills. Bitter orange extract contains Synephrine, which is similar to ephedrine in that it raises blood pressure, heart rate and metabolism. Synephrine can help burn fat, suppress appetite and increase energy. However, clinical studies have revealed that Citrus aurantium induces a relatively modest increase in thermogenesis. Reported side effects include: increased heart rate and blood pressure, insomnia, nervousness, anxiety, tremor, dry mouth, blurred vision and headache. Synephrine may also reduce the ability to urinate. The adverse side effects of bitter orange can be exacerbated when used in combination with other stimulants such as caffeine, coffee, cola nut, Ephedra and Guarana. Consult a physician if you have any history of cardiac disease, high blood pressure, anxiety or urinary problems. Another potential problem with Citrus aurantium is that it could interact with a wide range of prescription drugs. Citrus aurantium inhibits an enzyme in the small intestine, known as CYP3A4, which can alter the metabolism of drugs and amplifying their activity. This enzyme is responsible for the metabolic activity of 50% of all prescription drugs.
Proprietary blend (160 mg): This low dose blend contains Green Tea, Vanadium, Garcinia cambogia, Ginseng, Bee Pollen and White Willow Bark.
Green tea: Green tea has been shown to promote modest weight loss. However, it needs to be taken in relatively high concentration, and to contain high levels of catechins. Users of green tea sensitive to caffeine could experience any of the following side effects: irritability, restlessness, nausea, insomnia, tremors, heart palpitations, upset stomach, frequent urination and skin rash.
Garcinia cambogia (standardized for hydroxycitric acid): Hydroxycitric acid (HCA), extracted from Garcinia cambogia, is claimed to suppress appetite and promote fat burning. Numerous studies have concluded that HCA causes no adverse side effects and that the quantity and quality of scientific evidence is sufficient to support the safe, supplemental use of HCA at doses of up to 2,800 mg daily. There are no known medication interactions associated with the use of HCA. However, patients taking oral hypoglycemic agents are advised to use caution before using HCA, due to the possibility of exacerbating the action of hypoglycemic medications. Consult a physician before commencing use. Individuals diagnosed with Diabetes mellitus should use extreme caution in taking HCA/Garcinia cambogia due to its glycemic action. Individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia syndromes should also avoid using HCA. Pending additional research HCA is viewed as safe and non-toxic for most healthy adult individuals.
Vanadium functions as an insulin mimic and has been shown to inhibit the synthesis of cholesterol. Although the use of high doses of vanadium supplements remains controversial, there are studies that suggest positive benefits in using vanadium to treat certain health conditions. For example, insulin sensitivity has been shown to improve in animals and human subjects treated with vanadium, suggesting that vanadium may be useful in helping to lower blood sugar levels in diabetics (e.g. Mol Cell Biochem. 2001; 218(1-2):93-96; Metabolism. 2001; 50(6):667-673). A clinical study has also shown a decrease in LDL (“bad”) cholesterol levels in diabetics taking vanadium supplements (J Clin Endocrinol Metab. 2001; 86(3):1410-1417). Long-term Vanadium use has not been studied, so the use of vanadium by diabetics should be avoided. Vanadium overdose has been associated with depression and mania. Individuals with a history of mood disorders should not use Vanadium supplements. Vanadium should never be taken in amounts greater than 1.8 mg/day. Side effects from Vanadium may include nausea, stomach upset, vomiting and diarrhea. High doses of vanadium can cause liver or kidney disease. Patients taking blood-thinning drugs such as Heparin should not use Vanadium, as it can potentiate the blood thinning effects of these drugs.
Metabo Speed XXX also contains phosphates which in one study, when combined with Garcinia cambogia, l-tyrosine and guggulsterones, promoted moderate weight loss. Unfortunately, neither l-tyrosine nor guggulsterones are present in the MetaboSpeed XXX formulation.
